Setting up the installation

At ImagineRIT we were basically given a classroom that we had to convert into a gallery space within a period of two hours. Which meant hiding all of the desks, and making the focus of the space our installation.

The Installation

Aside from a couple of bugs and issues with Vista the installation was pretty well received. As with most installations we did have a few people who didn't like it and others who just didn't get it but everyone seemed to respect it, which was all we could ask for. I am told someone also mentioned the installation on the nightly news (although this has not been confirmed).

Here you can really get a sense of how tall the mannequin stood on the pedestals.

Inside the frame we projected each spectators experience. On the left is a still image from the VagCam, and on the right is video of the spectator approaching from the Voyeur cam.

We also printed out a description of the piece which was available to spectator.
